Let's start with why most people don't start -
There various reasons why most people start a business model at your age -
You think you are too young Most people at your age think they are too young , so if they start a business clients , investors , or partners will not trust someone at their age . That's the reason they don't start a business . Look i give you some example you know about mr.beast James stephen donaldson he started youtube at the age of 13 , Elon musk start coding when he was 11 , and sell his first game when 12 . SO, age is the number start whenever you want . You don't need to start a big at your first . Start with a small one make it bigger step by step .
You are drowning in a student debt This is the most common reason why you don't start a business model is you facing loan repayments . You want to start something but as a student you don't have money to take risk . You don't need to start business that worth money . You can start with freelancing , coaching , copywriting , and other thing that don't cost any money it give me money to start a business model . ( if you want details about it i already write a blog about it you can check it ).
You compare you with wrong person You scroll and see a 30-40 years old founder with funding , team and a polished product and you think oh! I'm so young I don't have a team or funding or experience about business compare to 30 years old man . WE should follow the founders at the beginning not the peak , who is 1-2 years ahead of you not 10 . There are lot of entrepreneurs in social media find them get advised how they get their first 0-10k month .
Nobody around you is doing it You have a friend circle or a group in your social media your environment shapes your ambitions , you see nobody in your friend circle or social media group start a business or don't start entrepreneurship so you feel it's unrealistic or even unrealistic for you . We should , Make our social media your environment , there are many social communities in Twitter/X , Discord or Reddit there are full founders in every stage , we just need to find and connect with them .
WE can also attend local startup event and meetups . Most cities have startup meetups , entrepreneur networking night or small business event . If you living in a city where the event is available I think you should attend it , I'm not living in a city like this is not possible for me .
You over romanticize the idea stage - Starting a business idea feels exciting but when you really going to do something like build , sell , ship your excitements fades and reality sets in. WE need to give ourself a 48 hours rule , when a new idea comes in our mind don't let sit in our minds for weeks we need a immediate action , write a page outline , post about it , action kills fantasy inside us I often do that so let's solve together .
You don't think you are enough You think before starting a business you need more knowledge about it which is essential but without producing anything read books , listening podcast , or getting motivated watching Ali Abdaal video is a craziness . WE need to gather the essential knowledge about it and then start to produce it.
You are afraid what your parents will think - In your 20s most of people in your age shelve their entrepreneurial dreams because the affair about parents , their parents who sacrificed their whole life for you , you don't want to disappoint your parents . You need to understand your parents lived in a world where stable jobs are the safest path they are not against you they against of uncertainty . You don't need your parents believe in your business , you need them to give your time to prove it . Tell them I'm gonna try on this side for 6 months and see what's happens . If it works show the result to your parents they will fell happy .
You don't have a clear problem to solve Most 20 year old people don't lived enough life to understand the real gap in market . If you don't make a service or product that solve a real problem your business idea stays abstract and never gain traction . So , research in market and make a product or service that solve real problem is important .
Now, there are many problem in your age so you need to solve these problem first to start a business seriously and then need to choose what service or product you will server your customer . Let's talk about how to start a business model at the age of 20s or even 30s .

Most successful startups improve a existing service instead of creating a completely different service or product . They improved the existing service more better , fast and convenient way .
Once you defined your service next step is target your audience a company or startup can't work for all at once , especially in the beginning . You need to understand who your ideal customer are . Ask yourself what your target audience interest , age , needs and where they spend there time in online . Once you define your target audience then you can shape your service , product for them and fill their needs . Understanding your target audience also helps you to create better market strategies because you know who you are speaking , and what they care about .
